Since you were all extremely helpful with yesterday's post I decided to do another one today before we go make our returns/purchases this weekend.
The question today is: what baby wearing sling do you prefer?
We registered for the k'tan, I liked that it was really simple and not an overload of fabric.
I am only 5'1 and the Moby Wrap kind of intimidates me with all that fabric!
Eventually we will buy a more structured baby carrier, like possibly the ergo baby, but I wanted her to be here to be able to truly test them out and see what feels the most comfortable for all 3 of us {unless of course it pops up on baby steals soon then I will snatch it regardless}
So anyways, what's your favorite?
What did you hate?
Would you choose the Moby over the K'tan?
Thanks again! :)

I have the Moby and I love it! It was very intimidating at first but once I figured it out, it was second nature. I do however wish I had bought the Ergo because I love everything about that carrier!! It's amazing!!
I love my black Moby wrap and yes, I agree the fabric is CRAZY and I thought I would NEVER figure it out, but once I used it a few times, I remembered how to put it on in a flash and it made life with my triplets so much easier!I wouldn't have known what to do without it and even at 9 months old, I still wear my littlest triplet (she's about 15 pds) in it and I can't wait to use it for baby #4...because chasing three 14 month olds around and caring for a newborn...this new little girl will be living in my moby wrap!!
kalea baby ring sling.
I have a Moby and I love it for at home. BUT it is long and while putting it on is easy, at the beginning parts of it touch the ground. Henry chews on the Moby now when he's in it and I have a problem with the fabric touching the ground in PUBLIC if he's going to chew it.
I want a ergo! They look awesome. We also have a sling (awesome for newborns but not good for months 2-5, I bet I'll use it once Henry can sit up on his own again), a infantimo and a snuggly. John loves the infantimo but it doesn't work with my size E boobs. I love the snuggly too, it's great!
I got a Moby, but I had never heard of the k'tan at the time. I used it and liked it until B hit around 12ish pounds, and then it began to hurt my back. I have the ergo baby sport and love it.
I have a K'Tan and an Ergo.
I absolutely love my K'Tan from 0-9 months when baby is more on board with being held, and is a bit smaller. My baby is a big boy, so once he was around 9 months, the k'tan just was too stretchy and snuggly for him.
I invested in the Ergo which is amazing. I still love my K'Tan for the small baby days, but the Ergo is fantastic for big baby days. I can wear him on my back or front. I love it.
Some people dont like that the Ergo doesnt have a forward facing front way to wear it, but what many people dont know, is that forward facing wearing is not a recommended way to carry your child.
Ergo is comfortable and easy. It has a great storage pouch, and a head cover that I can pull up and snap in place if baby falls asleep or we are in the sun or wind or rain and a quick cover is a life saver.
I can wear the Ergo with my 13 month old in it, while 6 months pregnant because it sits nice on my hips. Weight is evenly distributed.
K'Tan is great, but once baby is heavy for you, it doesnt feel as secure as the ergo.
I cant wait to pull out my ktan again when baby #2 arrives. Until then, Ergo is my friend.
